Economics

Our economic system is built on a single, uncompromising principle: that a truly sovereign people must be economically sovereign. Independence means little if a societies wealth can be frozen, devalued, or controlled by outside jurisdictions. Our economy is therefore designed to be self-sustaining, and entirely accountable to our members rather than to external governments, central banks, or corporate financial systems. We have not simply stepped away from the global economy — we are building something better in its place.

Our official currency is Monero. We chose Monero not to hide, but to be free. Monero is a decentralized, private digital currency that places financial sovereignty directly in the hands of its users. It cannot be inflated away by a central bank, frozen by a foreign government, or manipulated by institutional interests that have no stake in our wellbeing. For any society committed to true self-determination, Monero is the natural choice. A currency whose architecture reflects the same values as governance: independence, integrity, and accountability to no foreign authority.

All membership fee's are converted into Monero. To ease the transition for newly accepted members who are still moving away from the conventional financial world, We accept initial entry payments in USD, Bitcoin, or Monero. All funds received in external currencies are converted into Monero, bringing them fully into our financial ecosystem. From that point forward, every unit of wealth held by Freeport exists within a system that answers to our community alone.

Within our economy, the fruits of our collective labor and contribution are pooled and managed by the Administration for the common good. These resources fund our technological infrastructure, agricultural networks, medical and educational services, and the full range of civic provisions that every member is entitled to. Our economy is not extractive, it does not enrich a class of owners at the expense of workers. It is designed so that what the community produces, the community benefits from, in full.

Because economic sovereignty without internal accountability is not sovereignty but simply a different kind of corruption, the Administration operates under a strict and binding policy of financial transparency. The Administration is legally obligated by our laws to account for every unit of Monero spent on operations, infrastructure, and development. To fulfill this obligation, the Administration regularly publishes our official Monero public view keys to all verified members. This cryptographic tool allows every member to independently and directly audit the full record of incoming and outgoing transactions, verifying for themselves that community wealth is being used ethically, competently, and exclusively for the common good. No member need take the Administration's word for it, the ledger is open to every citizen.

This combination of sovereignty and transparency is the foundation of economic trust at Freeport. We are not asking our members to hand their resources to an institution and hope for the best. We are building a financial system in which sovereignty and accountability are both structural, built into the architecture of the currency itself and into the legal obligations of those who steward it. Our members can live here with the confidence that their contribution is protected, their provision is secure, and the wealth of our society is always working in their interest.

We are building an economy in which every family has what it needs, every member has full visibility into how public resources are used, and no outside power has any foothold over our financial life. That is what economic sovereignty looks like in practice, not isolation, but self-possession. Not secrecy, but freedom.

Economically sovereign. Financially transparent. Accountable to our people.
